The power can be switched off after a specified

amount of time.

1. Press the SLEEP button on the remote control

unit repeatedly until desired time appears on

the display.

• The sleep time can be changed by 10

minutes step.

10 → 20 → 30 → 40 → 50 → 60 → 70 → 80

→ 90 → 100 → 110 → 120 → OFF (original

display) → 10 → …

• When you set the sleep timer, the dimmer

function is turned on automatically.

•

If you want to check the remaining time, press

the SLEEP button once. The remaining time

will be displayed for 4 seconds, and return to

the normal display.

•

The setting time passes, the power is turned

off.

ANALOG/DIGITAL (VCR / DSS mode only)

Selecting Analog audio input or Digital audio input.

If you have already connected both digital and

analog inputs to input source, you can select

temporarily the audio input mode for each input

source with A/D button.

When

A/D

button is pressed,

the input mode is

switched

between the analog and digital inputs.

•

In Digital mode, the digital

input jacks are

selected.

• In Analog mode, the analog input jacks are

selected.

LISTENING THROUGH HEADPHONES

This jack may be used to listen to the unit’s output

through a pair of headphones. Be certain that the

headphones have a standard 1/4" stereo phono

plug. (Note that the speakers will automatically be

turned off when the headphone jack is in use.)

The Night Mode is effective the Dolby Digital only

when the signal is entered through the DVD, VCR,

DSS digital input jack and it compresses the

dynamic range.

Each time NIGHT button is pressed, the

night mode is changed as follows :

NIGHT STD

NIGHT MAX

OFF :

Audio with uncompressed dynamic range.

Select this when you don't want to use the

night mode.

STD :

Audio with partially compressed dynamic

range.

MAX :

Audio with fully compressed dynamic range.

You can dim the front display.

1. Press the DIMMER button on the remote

control unit repeatedly to select "DIMM ON"

and "DIMM OFF".

•

When you select "DIMM ON", the display is

dimmed.
