Tr oubleshooting
Incorrect operation is often mistaken for trouble or
malfunction. If you think that there is something wrong
with this component, check the points below. Sometimes
the trouble may lie in another component. Inspect the
other components and electrical appliances being used. If
the trouble cannot be rectified after checking the items
below, ask your nearest MARANTZ authorized service
center or your dealer to carry out repair work.
The disc is ejected automatically after loading.
•
Dirty or damaged disc.
See pages 154, 156 for disc care information.
•
Disc not seated properly in the disc guide.
Align the disc properly.
•
Incompatible region number.
If the region number on a DVD-Video disc does not match the
number on the player, the disc cannot be used (page 20).
•
Condensation inside the player.
Allow time for condensation to evaporate. Avoid using the
player near an air-conditioning unit.
Playback is not possible.
•
Disc is loaded upside down.
Reload the disc with the label side face up.
Cannot play DVD-RW disc
•
If the display shows ‘COPY PROTECT PROGRAM, UNPLAYABLE’,
this means that this disc cannot be played.
DVD-Audio playback stops.
•
The disc may have been illegally copied.

•
The operation is prohibited by the player.

•
The selected function does not operate for that disc.
When making changes in the Setup OSD menus, is
displayed.

There is a CD or Video CD loaded and the setting that was
changed applies only to DVD discs.

Dépannage
Une opération incorrecte est souvent prise erronément
pour une défaillance ou un dysfonctionnement. Si vous
pensez que l’appareil présente une défaillance,
commencez par vérifier les éléments suivants. Parfois, la
défaillance peut être provoquée par un autre appareil.
Inspectez les autres composants et appareils électriques
utilisés. Si vous ne parvenez pas à remédier à la défaillance
après avoir vérifié les éléments suivants, consultez un
centre de service après-vente MARANTZ agréé ou
demandez à votre revendeur d’effectuer les réparations.
Le disque est éjecté automatiquement après avoir été
introduit.

manipulation des disques.

Disque mal positionné dans le guide du plateau de lecture.
Alignez correctement le disque.

Numéro de région incompatible
Si le numéro de région figurant sur un DVD vidéo ne correspond
pas au numéro sur le lecteur, le disque ne peut être utilisé (page
20).
•
Présence de condensation à l’intérieur du lecteur.
Attendez un peu que la condensation s’évapore. N’utilisez pas le
lecteur à proximité d’un climatiseur.
Lecture impossible
•
Le disque a été introduit à l’envers.
Réintroduisez le disque avec la face imprimée vers le haut.
Impossible de reproduire un DVD-RW
•
Si la fenêtre d'affichage indique ‘COPY PROTECT PROGRAM,
UNPLAYABLE’, cela signifie que ce disque ne peut être reproduit.
La lecture d’un DVD audio s’arrête.
•
Le disque est peut-être une copie illégale.
Le symbole apparaît sur l’écran.
•
L’opération est impossible sur ce lecteur.

•
La fonction sélectionnée est inopérante avec ce disque.
Lorsque vous effectuez des changements dans les menus

Un CD ou un Vidéo-CD se trouve dans le lecteur et le réglage qui a

Les réglages seront opérants pour le prochain DVD que vous
introduirez dans le lecteur.
